The WorldPerks Visa Signature Card is a great card for those who frequently travel on Northwest Airlines or it's affiliates. You should also be someone who has excellent credit to benefit the most from this card. The reward program offered for this Northwest Airlines credit card includes being able to earn two mile for every dollar spent specifically on Northwest Airlines and one mile for every other dollar spent. You can also receive 90 miles when you pay the annual fee each year and even up to five miles can be earned for every dollar spent at certain restaurants. Once you are approved for the card you will receive your first 10,000 miles on your account. These miles than can be used for tickets on Northwest flights or flights on any of their affiliates. The miles do not expire, but like other WorldPerks cards there is a limit. Once you reach $80,000 in a year or $10,000 in a billing cycle, you will only earn one mile for every two dollars spent over those amounts.
Of course you can make yourself exempt from this limitation by automatically paying your bill in full every month or participating in either the Northwest WorldPerks Platinum Elite, Gold Elite or Silver Elite programs. There is no pre-set spending limit on this card and the annual fee is fairly average at $90. You can receive a lot of the common benefits of this type of card. These include personal concierge service, travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, purchase protection services, and access to your account online.
