If you are someone who uses Northwest Airlines on a regular basis and you have very good credit there is a unique credit card for you to consider. This card is called the WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card and is an excellent option for those in your situation. The reason this card is good for those who travel on Northwest Airlines is because of the rewards program that is offered with this card. A cardholder can earn one mile for every dollar spent generally. In addition to this five points can be earned per dollar spent at certain restaurants.
Another plus is that 55 miles can be earned each time the annual fee is paid. Also when you are approved you will automatically be credited 7,500 miles as well. These miles than can be used for tickets on Northwest Airlines or any of their partners. These miles do not expire but for every dollar over $50,000 in a year or over $10,000 in a billing cycle will require one mile credited for every two dollars over those amounts. These limitations can be waived if you automatically pay your bill in full every month or if you are a member of the Northwest WorldPerks Platinum Elite, Gold Elite or Silver Elite programs.
For this type of card, the annual fee of $55 is very reasonable. In addition you will receive many common platinum card benefits, such as up to $250,000 in travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, purchase protection services and online account accessibility.
