Like most prepaid cards, the card can make it easy for you by accepting direct deposits from your paycheck. This can be done in portions or all at once. Money can also be added from other sources. The advantage of this card is that there is no bank account required to open the account and you have the convenience of a credit card, without the hassle of trying to get an unsecured one.
The fees for this card are minimal and include an application fee of only $49 for those who apply for one online. There is also a small monthly fee of $5.95, but can be well worth it to have the convenience of a credit card with few qualifications. Qualifications in fact are limited to having a verifiable address in the United States and that is it. No credit checks, no security deposits and no employment requirements are needed.
While this card does not report to credit agencies, there is an incentive for those who refer friends to the company for cards as well. Twenty-five dollars for each person referred is credited to the original cardholder's account. So if you are looking for a chance to have the convenience and ease of a credit card, but do not have the option of an unsecured card, you should seriously look at getting a Vaya Prepaid MasterCard.
