The Nest Credit Card from American Express is aimed at newly married couples with average credit. This credit card for married couples offers a rewards system focused on offers and discounts likely to appeal to most newlyweds.

The rewards program earns customers one point per dollar spent on all purchases. The cardholder can order additional cards for his/her spouse and family members, and these cards also earn points all on the same account. American Express awards 5,000 bonus points on the first purchase. There is no limit on the amount of points that can be earned and points do not expire provided the card is used within a three-year period. Points earned can be used for travel, events, and shopping purchases.

After approval, customers also receive The Nest Planning Kit, which helps manage couples' living expenses. Other benefits include discounts and special offers at The Nest and participating retailers, auto rental insurance, travel accident insurance, and extended warranty. There is no annual fee and a reasonable rate for purchases and balance transfers.
