American Express has designed it own unique business card; Introducing The Gold Delta SkyMiles credit card for business. The Gold Delta was created for businesses who will take advantage of earning free traveling business related miles while maintaining good credit all the while. When a cardholder spends money on general purchases they will receive a mile for each dollar spent. When a cardholder spends money at retailers supporting the American Express Business card, the cardholder will then earn two miles for every dollar spent.
When a new member signs up, they will receive 15,000 start up miles, but they have to make an initial purchase at first. There is no expiration dates on miles, however the account has to be active within a three-year period of time. Delta's frequent flyer program also works hand in hand with the Gold Delta SkyMiles program. The consumer can expect some fees and regulations to occur. There is a fee of $85 annually, however that is waived for the first year and is dropped down to $30 should the cardholder also have a Business Gold, Executive, Platinum, or Centurion card. To start there is a 0% introductory interest rate for the first six months and then 9.99% to follow after that.
