The GM Flexible Earnings Card, issued by HSBC Bank had been designed for consumers who plan on purchasing or leasing a new GM truck, car, SUV. With GM's reward program, cardholders will have three different ways to cash in on their rebates. The first way, the cardholder will triple their reward earnings and get a 3% rebate toward the purchase or lease of any eligible, new GM truck, car, or SUV. Second, they can receive 1% rebate toward any purchase or lease of a Saturn, SAAB, or another non-GM vehicle. Third, they can receive a 1% cash rebate of $100 in separate checks. The sky is the limit to the extent of cash rebates that can be earned, but rebates expire in seven years, and the 3% rebate that is to be redeemed toward the GM vehicles has many redemption limits based on the model.

Interests rates for the GM Flexible Earnings Card are relatively low for the consumers who qualify, and it is important to note that there are minimum APR caps for all purchases. That means no matter how low the Prime Rate falls the interest rate will never go below their minimum caps (APRs are tied to the Prime Rate). This card does not have an annual fee and it also carries an enticing 0% introductory rate for purchases and balance transfers for the first year. This card also provides benefits that protect the cardholders from lost or stolen cards with no liability for unauthorized transactions and various online services to maintain the cardholders account information.
