The Citi Upromise Card is designed to help you save money for your child's college education. Every time you use this card, you will earn money that will go into an Upromise account. Depending on where you use the card, you will be eligible to save more money from participating retailers and stores. Grocery stores and drugstores can save you up to 10% on your purchases. This money will be deposited into an upromise account. You can save 2% at gas stations, and 1% in other retail outlets. Saving money for college is difficult for many families especially if they have more than one child. With a Citi Upromise Card, you will be able to start a savings account that can be used to pay for part of your child's college tuition, room and board, and textbooks. You can even get your family involved by asking them to apply for this credit card and ask that the savings be placed into your child's account.

There is no annual fee and a low APR. The Citi Upromise Card functions just like a regular credit card. You will be able to access your account online, you will be protected from theft or a lost card, and you will also be able to cover your purchases under a damage warrantee. There are many benefits to this credit card.
