Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card Review

The Citi Dividend Platinum Select Card is issued by Citibank and offers consumers with a very good credit rating a credit card with a flexible cash rebate rewards program.

Cash back rebates of 5% can be earned on purchases made via the Citi Dividend Merchant Network. There is no limit on these rebates; although all other rebates are limited to $300 per year. Cash back at a 2% rate can be earned when making purchases at gas stations, supermarkets, convenience stores, and some wireless utility charges. Rebates of 1% can be earned on almost all other purchases and on cash advances and some check transactions, which is an unusual benefit for a reward program. For each balance transfer of $1,500 or more, customers also earn five Dividend Dollars. Each time 50 Dividend Dollars are earned, the customer may request a $50 check.

Other platinum benefits include auto rental insurance, discounts on auto rental, travel accident insurance and car rental discounts. There is no annual fee, and there is a 0% introductory offer on balance transfer for twelve months.
