Blue Cash from American Express is designed for people with good or excellent credit who are looking for a lucrative cash back rewards program. Through the blue cash rebate program, cardholders earn a cash award that varies depending on the amount they spend each year. General purchases can earn up to a 1.5% rebate. Purchases that are made at drugstores, gas stations, and U.S. supermarkets can earn up to a 5% rebate. Aside from the cash rebates, this card also provides many of the normal benefits and services that are commonly found with American Express credit cards. These services include buyer's assurance plan, purchase protection plan, and travel accident insurance.
This card has no annual fee and a reasonable interest rate for purchases and balance transfers which makes it ideal for those who plan to occasionally carry a balance. The cash back reward program is just an added perk to an already attractive credit card. People that use their credit card to make everyday purchases at drugstores or the supermarket could note a large savings each year and would do well with this card. This is also a great card for people that want to earn rewards, but don't want to mess with redeeming them for actual items. With a cash back rewards program there is no fuss, just cash back in your wallet.
